Beautiful setting by the lake, but wi-fi was spotty during our stay.

Beautifully maintained landscapes scattered throughout the grounds created a picturesque environment for relaxation. Access to nearby local culture enhanced the experience, giving opportunities to explore unique sights and history that should not be missed.
Rooms felt small and appeared dated, leaving a bit of a cramped vibe that might not suit taller guests. Initial expectations were set by online descriptions that didn’t quite match, particularly in terms of modern updates or amenities. Dining options felt limited, especially for late-night cravings—trying to order a simple snack turned into an exercise in patience when the kitchen wasn’t available.

Hit the jackpot with the fresh Korean-inspired dishes at the resort's dining. Plus, the stunning lake views added a flavorful charm to every meal. Another highlight was the outdoor swimming pool, perfect for soaking up the summer sun and lounging after a culinary adventure!
The property definitely shows its age—rooms felt cramped and dated, reminding you of a bygone era.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the heated pool and beautiful lake. The kids loved the daily activities like bingo and Family Feud. The staff really went above and beyond, especially accommodating my daughter's vegan meals. The gardens were breathtaking, creating a perfect backdrop for family fun.
My kids wished for more activities geared specifically for smaller children.

Stunning views and great outdoor activities

Basin Harbor had stunning views of Lake Champlain and a variety of activities to enjoy. However, the first cottage was old and not very well maintained, which was disappointing given the price. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the dining options were decent.
